This was first produced in Santiago de Cuba over 130 years ago. It is aged using the Solera process, so on average the rums contained herein are 15 years old.
Nose: Caramel & vanilla.
Palate: There’s still some piquant heat on the palate coupled to a hint of almond/cherry pit, and the body comes across as ample but balanced.
Finish: A medium finish with Vanilla and a hint of wood.
