Rosso by name and Syrah by nature, this wine is made with grapes grown in the heart of the Bridge Pa triangle, an area with iron rich soils in Hawke’s Bay. Layers of black spicy stewed plums lead into a full bodied, youthful and delicious complex wine.
The grapes were hand harvested and fermented in tank and 24 months in French oak barrels. A touch of Pinot Noir (2.5%) from the Osawa vineyard blended. Dark, aromatic wine with poise and power. Captivating dark berry fruit, dark olive and spice with harmonious oak and sheer velvetiness on the palate.
