THE YARN BEHIND THE BREW
From 1917 to 1952, New Plymouth Prison was mainly used to detain apparent ‘deviants? convicted of homosexual offences. Fortunately those archaic days of discrimination have long since passed, but by acknowledging our history we can look forward with a sense of pride and inclusiveness alongside our local rainbow community. This bright IPA bursts with colourful hop character as a nod to our LGBTQI+ whanau.
